BASKETBALL CAMP INFORMATION FOR 10th, 11th, and 12th GRADE PLAYERS &
PARENTS FOR BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS
We have
added some advanced moves off driving and going to the basket, but our
emphasis is still on shooting. We definitely can improve whatever level
of play you have developed up to this time. We can fine tune an advanced
player and get the beginner started with the correct basics.
Message to parents------- We can definitely
give your son or daughter the complete offensive basketball skills that
they will need to be a success in high school or college. We have helped
thousands of players in the past and we are now offering even more offensive
skills to prepare them for today`s game. The skills we teach are what
the good and very good players are doing.
Often players in these grade levels feel that they won`t pick up much
at a fundamental shooting camp. Our camp is different. We can put the
finishing touches on the fair, good, and the very good players.
With our experience and success in teaching shooting and other offensive
skills we are able in a very simple way teach
what
moves and shots great players use
to make them so successful. Great scorers do what works and that is
what we teach.
We teach the basic moves and shots and also the advanced moves and shots
that can take the high school player right into college or university
play. Our drills and techniques are broken down so well you can easily
learn the advanced moves and shots as well as the basics.
The dribble drive, pass offense is the offense of the day and future.
We get players ready for putting the ball on the floor, passing, pulling
up and shooting or going all the way to the basket and finishing well.
Our dribbling techniques and drills are the best.
It is extremely important to know how to dribble well.
If you attend this summer you will find our techniques and drills are
the best for teaching :
1. 3 pt
shooting
2. Pull-up jumper off the dribble
3. Step back or out jump shot
4. Spin moves and shots
5. Floater or tear-drop shot
6. Explosive drive moves
7. Conventional, power, and reverse lay-ups
8. Free Throw Shooting
9. Finishing techniques driving to basket
10. Near arm lay-up
You
also play 9 games and the competition is good because we have a good number
attend for each grade and age group. You will play with players in your
grade and age group. -- Coach Baumgartner |
