How much money should my child bring?
Shirts, tapes, and basketballs are for sale opening and closing day. There
is also a snack shop open each evening before they go to bed.
Should I bring a fan?
Dormitories and Gyms are Air Conditioned. You can bring a fan if you wish.
Can my child bring a cooler and snacks for their room?
Snacks yes, but there is no place to get ice for a cooler.
What size bed sheet do I bring?
Standard twin.
What are check in and check out times?
Check in Sunday 12:00-2:00pm. Check out Wednesday 5:00 p.m.
Can I arrive late?
Yes, if you let us know we will have your child placed on a team according to
age.
Can I leave early?
Yes, but you will miss some things.
Will I get my roommate preference?
Yes, we work very hard to match your room request so your child is happy
with their roommate. If we make a mistake, we can usually still change that
day.
What time zone is Indiana in?
Eastern Standard
Can I bring my insurance form with me?
Yes, you can bring it to check in or mail it in early.
Can I mail in my final payment?
Yes, if you mail it in at least two weeks prior so we have it in plenty of
time. Make sure you mark the week you child is attending.
Does my child share a bathroom?
Yes, the bathrooms and showers are dormitory style.
Do I need to bring my own toilet paper?
No.
What will be in my child's room?
Bed, dresser, closet, typical dormitory style room.
Can my child bring a TV, Radio,CDs, etc?
No TV, we discourage radios because kids lose them, make sure content of
CDs is appropriate.
Does my child need to bring their own basketball?
No, we do not allow anyone to have their own basketballs in the gym.
Are parents permitted to watch during the week?
Yes, we welcome parents to come and watch any of the sessions and games.
Does my child need a physical?
No, you sign the form that states they are physically fit to the best of your
knowledge.
What if my child needs to take medication?
We have two full-time trainers that can distribute medication or your child
can take it themselves if you feel more comfortable. We just ask for you to
let us know about it. If you want to send aspirin or Tylenol with your child,
you must do so because we are not allowed to give it out without a doctors
prescription.
Is there a closing ceremony?
Yes, you can come at 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to watch the final games and awards
presentation at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
What if my child has special dietary needs?
Several entrees, vegetables, and sides are available at each meal. This
includes a salad bar, sandwich bar, and dessert and fruit bar in addition
to the main courses.
How many kids will be in a room?
We have rooms for two, three, or four kids. We have mostly triples available,
so this works best if it fits your needs.
Does 4th grade mean I have to already be in 4th grade in order
to attend?
We take 3rd grade players going into the 4th grade.
